Cookie policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used on irishaccountingpartner.com.
Necessary preference storage
We store your analytics choice and the date of that choice in your browser under iap-analytics-consent and iap-analytics-consent-date. These technical storage names record whether you selected “Keep analytics on” or “Reject analytics”; they do not mean that analytics waits for prior acceptance. We remember the choice for six months. If it expires or you clear browser storage, analytics returns to its default enabled state and the prompt appears again.
Google Analytics is enabled by default
Unless you have a current saved rejection, Google Analytics 4 starts automatically when the website loads, before you respond to the prompt. It uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions and help us measure page use, enquiry submissions and phone clicks. We use measurement ID G-Z24N21D56F. Select “Reject analytics” to stop further collection, or “Keep analytics on” to keep analytics enabled and dismiss the prompt.
| Name | Purpose | Default expiry |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors | Up to six months |
_ga_Z24N21D56F | Maintains session state | Up to six months |
Browser restrictions or our configuration may shorten these periods. We do not use advertising cookies through this website.
Reject analytics or change your choice
Select “Cookie settings” in the website footer at any time. Rejecting analytics disables further Google Analytics collection through this site and attempts to remove its first-party cookies. A current saved rejection prevents analytics from loading on subsequent visits. Information may already have been sent before you reject; rejection does not undo those transmissions or delete data already held by Google. You can request information about your data rights using the contact details in our privacy policy. You can also delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings, but clearing the saved choice restores the default enabled state on the next visit.
